This is my story about eagle's life. This title is "The Eagle That Did Not Fly.", medium:Acrylic on paper. This is for children's picture illustration book. I joined this in Noma Concours Picture Illustrations 2002 (Japan) but I didn't win. Don't worry, this was my experience. ;) I love this but I feel easily sad and hurt about my story. I hope you like this.


Once upon a time there was a huge tree in the mountainside of Davao, where a mighty monkey-eating eagle’s nest rested. The eagle’s nest contained three large eggs. One day while the mother eagle was away busy hunting for food, a naughty monkey climbed up the tree and stole one egg.

this reminds me of "watership down" (the cartoon created after the book)... the style you used on in this landscape is like something stright out of certain moments in that film...
It is also very 60's-ish in general.
I like it though. Very nice!@!

im the monkey i guez...
:jawdrop:. ur style is sooo superb. i luv the lines dots and sunny feel.

maybe the story just needs more human characters. i mean, i never saw much of fables there. maybe if you talk about a young filipino kid growing in our country, maybe theyd notice it. give it a shot.
